It would be relatively easy to get a list of all schools in the United States and import them organized by state, county, city, and school name. Unfortunately, that means there would be nearly 116,000 schools in the database. If users only wanted to discuss 500 schools, that would result in a very inefficient system!
Therefore, I decided to let the users of discussschools.com determine which schools they want to discuss and only add those schools. If you do not see the school you wish to discuss on the site, and chances are very high initially, that will be the case.
